Food Plant: Echium vulgare (Viper's Bugloss)

Egg: on the flower heads

Mine: June-August

Notes: Spins the flowers together and feeds amongst them. Can cause some discolouring. A coastal species from Se England, Kent and Sussex which found on the sand dunes and shingle. First found in Dungeness in 1975.
