Food Plant: Alnus glutinosa (Alder), Alnus cordata (Italian Alder)

Egg: Lower surface of leaf

Mine: July - August

Pupa: Under a turned over leaf edge. Exuviae are shown at the right of the cocoon.

Notes: Initially in short gallery becoming a brownish blotch near the leaf margin. Later in two or three Parornix-like folds at the edge of the leaf.
