Food Plant: Aster tripolium (Sea Aster), A.linosyris (Goldilocks Aster)

Notes: Makes many small mines as it feeds beneath the leaf, usually close to the leaf margin. The white case is 8-11mm long and has a distinct neck, with darker ventral striations after this region. Found in saltmarshes in Essex, Kent and Devon. The case shown is on A.linosyris (Goldilocks Aster).
