Notes: A blotch is formed at the leaf tip from an initial corridor, which runs from the midrib (Formerly called Rhynchaenus alni). This mine is formed on developing leaves in early summer and so distortion may be caused. Orchestes betuleti forms similar mines but on mature leaves and later in the year.
