Food Plant: Crataegus (Hawthorn), Sorbus aucuparia (Rowan), Prunus spinosa (Blackthorn), Mespilus germanica (Medlar), Malus sylvestris (Crab Apple), Cotoneaster frigidus (Cotoneaster)

Mine: Univoltine: Autumn (over winters full grown in the mine).

Pupa: Outside the mine

Notes: Initially a small, roundish, upper surface blotch. There may be several larvae to a leaf (as shown). This shows the first record of this species on Cotoneaster in the UK.
