Food Plant: Aster tripolium (Sea Aster) Mine: unknown Notes: The larva feeds and pupariates internally within the stem. The puparium is an orange brown colour (as shown. The size differences may be due to their sex). The anterior spiracles have a small central horn, each with 14-18 bulbs arranged around this. Probably a widespread miner.
