Food Plant: Senecio erucifolius (Hoary Ragwort), Senecio jacobaea (Common Ragwort)

Notes: Forms an external stem mine which is usually invisible but the presence of a puparium below a leaf node (usually) is the indication that the stem has been mined. (Warrington & Parker, 2021). A rare species found in undisturbed habitats. Mine and puparium shown on Senecio jacobaea (Common Ragwort).
