Food Plant: Atriplex sp. (Orache), Beta vulgaris (Beet) Mine: May-October (in 2 or 3 generations) Notes: A large deep upper surface blotch is formed, which is usually mined by several larvae. The larvae may leave one leaf to mine another. Pupation is outside the mine. Adults were reared to identify. A puparium is shown in dorsal, lateral and ventral view (top to bottom photo).
