Food Plant: Solidago virgaurea (Goldenrod) Recorded Elsewhere: Bellis (Daisy)

Mine: June-August (Hering, 1957)

Notes: Forms whitish upper surface mines with frass in (mostly) connected strips. Pupariation is outside the leaf with the exit slit usually in the upper epidermis. A black puparium is formed. Older mines can turn a reddish-purple.
