Food Plant: Smyrnium olustratum (Alexanders)

Egg: laid in batches on theseeds

Mine: July-April

Notes: A recent colonist (2017) which feeds initially in the seeds and overwinters fully fed as a larva, in the stem. Moths were bred to confirm the identity. Found in coastal habitats in Devon and Dorset at present. the larva is shown.
