Food Plant: Cytisus scoparius (Broom). Recorded Elsewhere: Adenocarpus; Calicotome; Chronanthus biflorus; Cytisus fontanesii Mine: August (?)- May Notes: The case is initially cut from a leaf and then assembled from several leaf pieces to make four sections, which then turn brown (as shown). The case is laterally compressed and is 12-13mm long. It pupates attached to the stem of the host. First seen in the UK in 2004 and finally confirmed in 2007.
