Food Plant: Ulmus (Elm), Betula (Birch), Alnus (Alder), Corylus (Hazel) and others

Mine: late September to late October, then April to early June.

Notes: First case formed of a leaf fragment, larva mining leaves. New case formed after feeding restarts in spring. The first case attaches to the leaf edge in spring and the new case is formed by cutting out the leaf edge (as shown on Birch).
