mines in bark

Food Plant: Quercus (Oak)

Egg: On bark

Mine: Can be found all year, with fully grown larvae late May and June

Notes: Mines in the young green bark of oaks. Z.longicaudella, which makes similar bark mines, was recently discovered. The moths must be bred through to identify - the mine above is possibly this species.
