Food Plant: Salix (Willow):   S.caprea, S.cinerea, S.fragilis, S. pentandra, S.phylicifolia.

Egg: Laid on midrib 

Mine: July - November

Notes: A gall in the leaf petiole, later the mine is in the leaf-blade, in a “green island”. An early mine can be seen on the left and a vacated mine on the right.
