Food Plant: Brachypodium sylvaticum (false Brome) , B.pinnatum (Tor-grass)

Egg: laid near the leaf tip

Mine: April-June

Notes: Initially a gallery mine forms towards the leaf tip. It then turns dowwards making a Phyllonorycter-like blister mine which is 5-8 cm long and a pale green colour. Found in woodland edges and clearings.

National Status: Nationally Scarce B
