Food Plant: Rumex crispus (Curly Dock) (possibly other Rumex species too) Mine: April-June Notes: Lives internally in the rootstock, stem and leaf petioles. Pupation is within the rootstock. A moth found predominantly in the South. Larval feeding signs on Rumex hydrolapathum, with large amounts of frass extruded from a hole in the axil by a larva feeding inside the stem.
