Food Plant: Rosaceous trees/shrubs especially Crataegus (Hawthorn), Malus (Apple), also Prunus (Cherry)

Notes: The mine is in the upper epidermis of a leaf, usually over midrib or vein. The mine is at first silvery, later with brown speckling. The larva has a brown head and pale brown dorsal plates (as shown).
