Mine: June-July, August-September

Pupa: Under a silk membrane on the margin of leaf

Notes: A 'snail-trail'-like mine on the upper surface, long and sinuous, with a dark central frass trail, ending at the leaf margin. This mine is unusual as it is lower surface. The mine shown is on a P.tremula/canescens hybrid.
